SmartKeyword allows you to track the impact of the different tasks carried out thanks to dedicated screens and features.

To know how to create a task, go to this article.

You can find all of the tasks via the screen "Project monitoring" > "Tasks".

Once the task is completed, you must update the associated card with a completion date.

Here's why it's important

Once you enter a completion date, an additional red triangle appears so you can follow-up the associated keywords.

For example, this Content task was completed on the 02/1602/21 and associated with the keyword "meta description tag".

If you click on the small eye next to the keyword, the analysis screen linked to it opens (see here to learn more about this).

On this screen, you find a small "red" triangle at the level of the position curve which indicates the task performed.

What are these triangles for?

Very often, you'll perform many SEO tasks on your pages: tag modification, new content, netlinking...

It will be impossible for you to follow the real impact of these tasks on your positions, not to mention which task has been the most impactful, if you don't follow them very closely.

If you record all your tasks, you can benefit from a precise tracking of the tasks and analyze in detail what could have decreased/increased the positions of your pages in relation to your keywords.

Here for example we can see that many tasks were done in March which generated an increase by 15 positions. Without this data, it would have been impossible to know why this page was propelled.
