In the tab "Reporting > Competitors" :

SmartKeyword gives you in the form of a graph and a table an analysis of the position of your competitors.

You can filter this page by group of keywords and type of competitors over a given period.

THE GRAPH

You can choose to display on the graph the traffic evolution or the traffic typology.

The traffic evolution represents the total traffic of your competitors in comparison with yourself. By clicking on the competitors' label, you can decide to display them or not in the graph.

The traffic typology indicates the amount of traffic from your competition and yourself based on the estimated SEO traffic and the number of keywords on the first page. The bigger the bubble, the higher the traffic.

THE CHART

You will find the following data on the table below the graphs :

  • Volume of traffic generated by your competitor

  • Variation of traffic of each competitor compared to the previous week (D-7) and previous month (D-28).

  • Competitors’ best traffic (highest traffic observed over a period of 30 days)

  • Number of keywords on the first page (based on keywords inserted in your SmartKeyword account)

  • Number of keywords in 1st position (based on keywords inserted in your SmartKeyword account)

  • Domain Authority (DA) i.e. the strength of your site on a scale of 0 to 100.

  • Number of referring domains

Note that by clicking on the links of your competitor's URL in the actions column you can access a comparison between you and your competitor on :

Good to know :

You can manually add a competitors by clicking on "Add a competitor" at the top of the page.

SmartKeyword also shows the top positioned competitors by clicking on the tab "top positioned sites" and enables you to download the keywords on which your competitors are positioned in the tab "competitors by keywords".
