SmartKeyword allows you to associate pages with your keywords to optimize your positions. This can be useful for example, to increase the brand positioning rather than the product itself.

Associating a page to a keyword will show you relevant recommendations in that keyword’s "Action Plan". We will see in this document how to do it.

How to add new pages?

Two possibilities:

  • Manual association:

When you are on the keywords tab, click on the add another page icon as below:

Enter the URL to validate :

  • Assigning your pages in bulk:

From the main menu, click on the "My Keywords" tab, then on the "manage my keywords" option

Click on "associate pages to keywords".

Download template file :

Then fill in the keyword as it is written in your SmartKeyword account in the first column and the page you want to associate with that keyword in the 2nd column:

Once the new page is associated, an icon will appear next to the page actually positioned by Google (the one indicated by default) to show you that another page has been manually assigned.

The page positioned on the Google SERP is the page "agence-seo-lyon" but the new page associated manually (i.e. the home) is well taken into account, here it corresponds to the home page.

You can check the association by moving your mouse over the link in blue.

SmartKeyword will then propose optimization of the manually associated page for the given keyword.
